Highbridge Medical Centre is an approved Training Practice.
All GP Registrars are fully qualified, experienced doctors who will be able to deal with your clinical problems with an advantage of recent hospital experience. Whilst here they will gain additional knowledge in family medicine prior to becoming GP's in their own practices.

|Each health visitor is a registered nurse who has spent a further year training to help you and your family stay healthy. Each child up to the age of five has a named health visitor. To contact your health visitor please phone 01278 787482 - an answering machine service is available if no-one is in to take your call. Home visits are made according to family and individual need. The first visit to a newly born baby is made after discharge from the midwifery service and thereafter at your request. You are welcome to attend the child health clinic held at Highbridge Children’s Centre, Coronation Road, Highbridge every Tuesday between 1.00 and 3.00pm. No appointment is necessary. The health visitors offer a programme of developmental assessments to all children. They are also involved in community health programmes which include disease awareness campaigns, stopping smoking and parenting initiatives. Health visitors also work closely with other professionals involved with children and their families.|
